ROWELS RUN MAN CHARGED WITH ARSON OF MOBILE HOME

UPDATE - A Rowels Run man, Denzil McKay, Jr. 30, has been arrested by the State Police and charged with arson related to a mobile home that burned to the ground this week.

McKay occupied the mobile home.

He is in Central Regional Jail with bond set at $60,000.



ORIGINAL STORY 8/18 - A fire completely destroyed a mobile home on Rowels Run near Hur early Tuesday morning.

The structure was occupied by Denzil McKay, Jr., who was not injured.

The Grantsville VFD, Upper West Fork VFD, Minnie Hamilton EMS, and the WV State Police responded to the scene about 3:20 a.m.

There was a disruption of phone service in the area, likely related to the fire.
