Calhoun Soldier's Remains Come Home in 1921

Victor Hamilton Funeral to be Held Friday

The remains of Corporal Victor Hamilton, who died a glorious death for his country in France, will arrive here today (Thursday) or tomorrow and will be laid to rest in Bethlehem Cemetery Friday afternoon.  A message was received by Mrs. J.M. Hamilton Tuesday informing her that the body of her son would leave New York that night, and it is expected to arrive here Thursday evening.

The funeral services will be held from the Methodist church Friday afternoon following which interrment will be made in Bethlehem cemetery.  The services will be in charge of the Victor Hamilton Post of the American Legion.
