The Calhoun County Athletic Complex Committee would like to thank all the businesses and individuals who helped make the
Basket Bingo night held April 6 at the Middle/High School such a big success. A large crowd came out for a fun evening of
bingo and thirty people went home with Longaberger baskets.
The businesses and individuals sponsoring a basket or making donations were: Lori’s Country Styling Station, Calhoun
Banks, First National Bank, Koffee Kup, Masters Boutique, Juanita Miller, Roane General Hospital, Burke Parsons &
Bowlby, Calhoun Varsity Cheerleaders, Dr. DeSouza, Stinson Grocery, Juanita Berdine, John Oshoway, Smith’s Auto Parts,
J & B Drug Store, Fruth Pharmacy, Little Kanawha Gas Measuring Col, Tim Moore - State Farm, Houchin Construction
LLC, Rick’s Place, Morris Oil & Gas, M & A Well Service, Hartshorn License Service/Nationwide Ins.,
Martha Cooper/Coopers Flowers & Gifts, and Pam Godfrey.
Lions Club members brought their bingo equipment and called all of the games. Their help was greatly appreciated.
All the money raised, about $4800, at this event and other CCACC sponsored activities goes toward building the athletic
fields and the facilities building at the Middle/High School.
