E-mail photos of a giant mountain lion reportedly killed between "Grantsville and Walker (Creek)" in Calhoun, or near Wood County, have been circulating on the Internet for several days.

The photos have been forwarded to the Herald from multiple sources.

Between now and Tuesday's edition of the Herald, you're welcome to consider the veracity of the account, which states "Fish and Game" were called to put the giant cat down after being struck by an auto.

Stay tuned.
