Mrs. Hardman Dies As Result Of Burns

Mrs. Mamie Moore Hardman, 43, of Mt. Zion, Calhoun county died Saturday at St. Joseph's hospital in Parkersburg of burns suffered in May when a fire destroyed her home.  She was the daughter of Joshua and Melissa James Parsons of Mt. Zion, and was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist church at Stumptown.

She is survived by her parents; five daughters, Mrs. Anna Mae Gunn, Elyria, Ohio; Mrs. Mary Jane Bateman, Mt. Zion; Miss Francis Moore, Parkersburg and Miss Ila Moore and Miss Wanda Moore, both of Mt. Zion; three brothers, Roscoe Parsons, Mt. Zion; Discoe Parsons, Orton, and Decoe Parsons, Marmet; and six sisters, Mrs. Eva Moore and Mrs. Madge Jarvis, Mt. Zion, Mrs. Maple McKenney, Morgantown, Mrs. Pearl Minney, Lockney, Mrs. Lulu Brigg, Charleston and Mrs. Mary Vannoy, Parkersburg.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Mt. Zion Methodist church with the Rev. Mrs. Charles Wilkinson, assisted the Rev. Glendon McKee, officiating.  Interment took place in the Meadow cemetery near Lockney.
