38TH ANNUAL MOLASSES FESTIVAL

Vier Hall helps skim the molasses
Calhoun's famous music-maker Lester McCumbers fiddles a tune

Out-of-state visitors enjoy the day
while many folks enjoyed the quilt and craft show

Many folks came just to get a jar of molasses ...

... made the old-fashioned way in steaming trays of sugar cane ...

... kept going by stoking the fire
