CALHOUN SOFTBALL SUSPENDED IN THE 5TH - Team Asks For Public Support

(03/31/2004)

By David White

The away softball game between Calhoun Softball and Ravenswood HS was suspended at the top of the 5th inning.

At that time the Calhoun players were at bat, and Calhoun had one out with runners on second and third.

The score at that time was Calhoun 4---Ravenswood 2.

This game will be completed at Calhoun's field on April 27th.

After the last three innings of the suspended game are completed, the regularly scheduled home varsity contest with Ravenswood will begin.

Up to this point in the season the softball coaches of the LKC considered Ravenswood to be ranked #1.

The players say its time to come out and show your support for Calhoun Softball.

The team begins a six game home stand starting this Saturday. It's Calhoun vs Gilmer at 2:00.
