As expected Calhoun County was very competitive. Not expected, however, was just how strong Turner Ashby, Va., High School was.
While Calhoun was crowning two champions and slugging it out with Williamstown for second place Turner Ashby ran away from the field to
capture the Williamstown Rumble by a 25.5-point margin.
Turner Ashby won with 187.5 points. Williamstown was second with 152 and Calhoun was third with 150.5. Bridgeport (128) and St. Albans
(94) round out the top five.
Overall Turner Ashby crowned three individual champions as did Williamstown. Calhoun had two.
Winning championships for the Red Devils were Justin Ashley (130) and Eric Metz (152).
Calhoun had second place finishes by Jaron Sampson (119), Andrew Cummings (135), Justin Price (140) and Paul Goodrich (160). The Red
