Although we still have another month until spring, the vendors of the Grantsville Farmers Market have already had two planning meets to discuss market improvements and the dates and times of the upcoming season.

As of now the Grantsville Farmers Market will be on Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., the vendors have not selected when the market will open, but it will be not later than the first week in June.

As we continue to plan the upcoming farmers’ market season we ask that anyone wanting to participate as a vendor this coming year contact the WVU Extension Service- Calhoun County.

The farmers market is a wonderful opportunity to market fruits and vegetables, bake goods, canned goods, meats, crafts, jewelry, and many other handmade or home raised products.

If you are unsure about how a farmers market works, or where to start, the WVU Extension Service-Calhoun County is here to assist you with any questions, planning or guidance you may need.

If you are interested and would like WVU Extension Service-Calhoun County to contact you, please fill out the printable form and a few survey questions below and mail it into our office.
