| Anyone interested in participating in Heartwood in the Hill’s
Springtime Gala Performance should plan to attend a mandatory
orientation on Sunday, March 3, at Heartwood at 2 p.m.
Parents are also
urged to attend this meeting to learn details about the Heartwood
Performing Arts Program, class schedules, mandatory rehearsals and all
aspects of the Springtime Gala 2013 project.
Members of this group will
perform for the elementary school children of Calhoun County and the
general public in late May. Students of this program will be required
to take two to three dance/theatre classes per week depending upon the
level of previous dance study. The program is open to those 10 and
older.
Heartwood will begin its Spring 2013 program of classes on Monday,
March 4. Classes being offered this program include Creative Arts for
Children, Artwork for Kids, Basic Ballet, Dance Technique, Theatre
Dance and Movement for Health and Centering. For information about
