A SHINING STAR - A Salute To John And Sue Oshoway

A Shining Star goes to John and Sue Oshoway, John being a Grantsville attorney for many years.

Rev. James Pearson said, "While I was in Grantsville they worked tirelessly in First Baptist where John was our pianist. He was very good at it and practiced hard and long to perform well."

Then, they worked on reviving the Calhoun Wood Festival and bringing back the fireworks, enlarging the parade and bringing pride to the county.

"For many years now they have had the public Easter egg hunt with lots of prizes, attended by hundreds of Calhoun kids."

"After the tragic death of their daughter, they have continued to give back to the community," Pearson said.

"I salute them."
