106-YEAR-OLD CLAY MAN SUCCUMBS (08/18/2012) A Clay County man has died at the age of 106. Oakey Collins died Wednesday. Born on June 4, 1906 at Leatherwood in Clay County, he is survived by his wife, Bonnie Collins of Wallback. Also a daughter, Berman Runion of Procious; sons, Oakey Collins Jr. of Grantsville; Keith Collins of Wallback; Brian Lewis of Carmichael PA; William Harrison of Bickmore; stepson, Paul Nichols of Morgantown; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, August 19, at Little Laurel Baptist Church, Maysel. Burial will be in Little Laurel Cemetery.
