ALERTS: GLENVILLE STATE CLOSED MONDAY - Calhoun And Wirt Co. Water Distribution, Water Woes In Calhoun/Ritchie? Boil Water Order Issued In Braxton (07/02/2012) Drinking water is being distributed at the Grantsville, Arnoldsburg and Upper West Fork Fire Departments. Drinking water will be distributed at the Wirt County Courthouse from 3 until 9 p.m. today while supplies last. Glenville State College will be closed Monday, July 2nd. Water supplies are reportedly short with the Pleasant Hill PSD, but unconfirmed reports indicate a generator has been put into service to increase the supply, with the Ritchie County OES Director expressing concerns about supplies to the great Smithville area. Most Pleasant Hill PSD members are reporting Sunday they are without water. Residents in Flatwoods and Airport Rd. in Braxton County are under a boil water advisory until further notice. Service is being restored to all areas but all customers are urged to conserve water, because water tanks remain at critically low levels. Energy Express and Heads-Up will be running as usual, along with busses on Monday.
