MAN DIES IN SUV CRASH ON I-79 (06/12/2012) A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Roane County Monday afternoon. David McCallister, driving a SUV, was killed. State Police say it happened around 2:00 p.m. near the Wallback exit on the southbound lane of Interstate 79. Police say the man lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
