Original McCune cellar has held harvests for at least 150 years

Farm life displayed on Conrad outbuilding

A winter day trip up Crooked Run near Orma reveals life held frozen in time, from the restoration of the original McCune log cabin to objects nailed against the wall at the Conrad place.

Life is still slow here, with most folks recalling the tales of Norv and Bruce McCune, no longer a presence on the creek.

Logs in barn could go back to Civil War days and the
world's largest kraut cutter displayed along the road
