ARNOLDSBURG EAGLES 4-H CLUB SPAGHETTI DINNER - Saturday, February 13th at the West Fork Community Building in Arnoldsburg from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Menu: spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, dessert and drink. Sweetheart Special 2 dinners for $15 or single dinner for $8 (reserve your ticket in advance to get the special price) Regular cost at door $10 per plate, Kids half price, Kids 3 and under free with paid adult. There will be raffles and a 50/50 drawing. All proceeds will benefit the Arnoldsburg Eagles 4-H Club and help them with educational/cultural trips, camp scholarships, county 4-H event fees, state 4-H event fees and more! YOUTH WRESTLING FUNDRAISER - (e. 2/26/16) Calhoun Youth Wrestling will be selling Turkey or Roast Beef Split Lunch on Friday, February 26th at the Grantsville Fire Department beginning at 10:00 a.m. with Delivery from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for $8.00 each. Lunch includes, choice of Turkey or Roast Beef on Bread with mashed potatoes and gravy over all (unless otherwise specified), Garden Salad (Lettuce, Tomatoes and Carrots) with choice of Ranch or Italian dressing. All proceeds go to support Calhoun Youth Wrestling. Thank you to the Grantsville Fire Department for the use of their building. LIONS CLUB BINGO - Grantsville Lions Club, 103 Stump Street will have their regular Bingo, Saturday, March 5 and the first Saturday night of each month, starting at 6:00 p.m. Refreshments available with lots of fun and fellowship. Proceeds from these fund raising events go back into the community, in the form of Scholarships for students desiring to further their education, our Vision Program (for those needing vision care) and many other worthy causes.
NORMANTOWN ALUMNI BASKETBALL GAME - Odd year students (Gold Team) Even year students (Blue Team) Wednesday, March 16th at 5:00 p.m. at Normantown Gymnasium. Admission is $3.00. Don't miss the final game before the school closure. If you attended Normantown School, or consider it your "home" school, you are eligible to play in the Alumni Game, whether you were on the school team or not. Mix-It-Up Bingo Saturday, April 9 at the Calhoun County
Park. Doors will open at 4:00 p.m. Bingo will start at 5:00 p.m. It will include Longaberger baskets, Case Knives, 31 Bags and more. There will be 20 games plus raffle tickets and auction items.
Concessions will be available. Anyone wishing to donate to this event would be greatly appreciated. All proceeds will be going to upgrade the playground equipment, and other needed repairs. The Thirty-One Deluxe Utility Tote will be filled with new merchandise to help make your summer more fun and fantastic. Drawing will be Friday, July 1st at 11 a.m. (Need not be present to win) Proceeds will go to CCCOA Seniors. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.
