MUSIC & AUCTION BENEFIT - Saturday, April 19 from 10 am to 5 pm at the Calhoun Park Barn for Cheryl Gumbarevic Elliott. Cheryl has lost the use of her legs due to bulging disc in her lower back and scoliosis she is going to have surgery to fix the disc and put a steel rod in her back as well. She will have many months of rehab and therapy. She is on a 2 year waiting list for a nurse to come in and help her everyday so until then it is all out of pocket. Live bands will be on hand for the day including The New Christian Friends, The David Bowen Family, Billy Boggs, Sherry Wade And Larry Cottrill And Sharon Knotts. Donated items for the auction "hand made Amish rugs", Amish baby quilt, set of pillows. 50/50 drawings throughout the day, and much more. Food and drinks will be on hand as well. Looking for more items for the Auction - please call 304-514-4258 to donate. All proceeds go for nursing costs and transportation to doctors appointments in Morgantown and physical therapy.

LONGABERGER BASKET & CASE KNIFE BINGO - Come out to the Arnoldsburg Community Building, Saturday May 3rd at 5:30 p.m. (doors open at 4:30) 20 games for $20 with opportunities to buy more cards maybe throughout the game. Concession stand, 50/50 drawing, early bird drawing for a basket, silent auction, 2nd chance baskets and special games. GOLF TOURNAMENT CANCER FUNDRAISER - The First Baptist Church of Glenville will hold their annual Golf Tournament fundraiser on Friday, May 16 at Glenville Golf Course. The first 18 teams to pay entry fee will play. 4 Person Scramble $200.00 per team. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. Tee-Off will be at 9:00 a.m. Make checks payable to FBC Cancer Fund and mail to First Baptist Church of Glenville at 217 East Main St., Glenville, WV 26351. No alcohol beverages consumed for the duration of the tournament.

QUILT RAFFLE - Calhoun Christmas Connection is selling tickets on a JoAnn’s Design quilt, donated by JoAnn Shock (see above) All proceeds go to purchase toys for needy families, Christmas 2014. RELAY FOR LIFE FUNDRAISER
- Crawford’s Crusaders Relay for Life Team Calhoun County West Virginia. Is selling raffle tickets For a hand crafted 3-D Orchid wall hanging 12x24 Silk on canvas with beaded accents. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Drawing to be held June 28, 2014 Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society to provide patient services within the community.
