ARNOLDSBURG SCHOOL 4TH GRADE FUNDRAISER - The 4th grade classes at Arnoldsburg Elementary School are holding a raffle for an owl wreath (shown above) tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. Need not to be present to win. The raffle drawing for the wreath (shown above) will be held September 8, 2015. The raffle is to raise money for their annual field trip. This trip will be taken near the end of the school year. No decision has been made yet on where the trip will be. You may purchase tickets at Arnoldsburg Elementary or from any 4th grade student. Any support will be greatly appreciated.

BENEFIT LUNCH - Grantsville Thrift Store (sponsored by the Family Resource Network) will be selling Brown Beans & Cornbread for $2.50, Tuesday, September 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rain or shine at the store location at 408 Main Street, Grantsville. For more info call 304-354-7177.

FALL BINGO - Please join the Friends of the Market St. Chapel, Thursday, September 3 at Heritage Park Community Building in Spencer. Doors open at 5:00 Bingo begins at 6:00. 20 games for $20. Prizes include, Longaberger Baskets, Vera Bradley, Thirty-One, Backpacks and more! Scarf Contest - wear your “ugliest” or “prettiest” scarf a prize will be given to the winner in each category. LIONS CLUB BINGOGrantsville Lions Club, 103 Stump Street will have their regular Bingo, Saturday, Sept. 5 and the first Saturday night of each month, starting at 6:00 p.m. Refreshments available with lots of fun and fellowship. Proceeds from these fund raising events go back into the community, in the form of Scholarships for students desiring to further their education, our Vision Program (for those needing vision care) and many other worthy causes.
