GOLDEN LADIES AND COACH DREW BASKET BINGO - Friday, Oct. 2nd at Arnoldsburg Community Park beginning at 6 p.m. 20+ Games, Early Bird Drawing for 3 Free Bingo Cards. Doors will open at 5 p.m. 20 Games for $20. Concessions, Door Prizes and lots of surprises. Proceeds will go toward adding new activities for the annual Run for Raegen.

MT. ZION UMC BAZAAR - The Mt. Zion UMC is having a bazaar fundraiser with games and concessions for all ages, Saturday, Oct. 3 at Wayne Underwood Field in Grantsville from noon to 5 p.m. Everyone is invited to come, spend the day of fun and have a great time. Games include, Cake walk, game toss, relay race, sack race, face painting, dime toss, live plant sale, crafts, dunking booth, country store, canned good sale, food, and silent auction. Proceeds will go toward the lift addition to the church to make it wheel chair accessible.

RAFFLE - Hand braided rug (see above) Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. All proceeds go for the upkeep of the Norman Ridge and Yoak Cemetery fund. Need not be present to win. Drawing will be on October 4th at the Yoak family reunion. Call Netta Norman at (304)354-7016 if you are interested.

LONGABERGER AND CASE KNIFE BINGO - Sponsored by the Braxton/Clay Foster Adoption Support Group. All proceeds will be used for the annual Children's Christmas Party. Bingo will be held at the Arnoldsburg Community Park on Saturday, October 3rd. Doors open at 4 p.m. bingo starts at 5 p.m. 20 Games for $20. Early Bird drawing and several door prizes. Concessions will be available. A Quilt and Homemade Porch Swing will be raffled-off. For early bird tickets or ticket on the quilt or swing raffle call Dan at 304-655-8503.

LIONS CLUB BINGOGrantsville Lions Club, 103 Stump Street will have their regular Bingo, Saturday, Oct. 3 and the first Saturday night of each month, starting at 6:00 p.m. Refreshments available with lots of fun and fellowship. Proceeds from these fund raising events go back into the community, in the form of Scholarships for students desiring to further their education, our Vision Program (for those needing vision care) and many other worthy causes.

FLEA MARKET - Fundraiser for the Upper West Fork Park, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9. Table fee is $10 per table inside or outside. Concessions will be sold from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To rent tables call Sharon 304-655-8280 or Kristie 304-655-7572.

MIKE ADAMS BENEFIT DINNER - There will be a Benefit Dinner for Mike Adams of Sand Fork, West Virginia on Sunday, October 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Gilmer County Recreation Center Dining Hall, in Glenville, WV. A Menu of Ham, Brown Beans, Fried Potatoes, Cornbread, Coleslaw, Coffee, Tea, Water, and Desserts donated by Friends will be served. You can dine in or take your meal to go. Charge will be by Donation only. This Dinner is sponsored by Mike's family and friends. All Proceeds will go for Medical Expense for Liver Cancer. Should anyone wish to donate a dessert, it can be dropped off at the Rec. Center on Sunday Morning after 8:00 a.m. Mike is unable to work at this time, and there will be a period of time before he starts receiving his Social Security. This Benefit will be a tremendous help for him during this difficult time. We hope you can come out and support a family who has helped so many people in the past.
