He loved talking about his life work and stories about Grantsville life. He was always ready with a joke.

Gary was a member of South Parkersburg Baptist Church, 50 year member of Eureka Lodge #40, Parkersburg Scottish Rite of Free Masonry, Nemesis Shrine, and Grantsville Order of the Eastern Star, where he was Past Worthy Patron. He also served on the Nemesis Director's Staff.

He is survived by two daughters, Marcia Campbell and her husband Joe of Parkersburg, and Dana Hubbard and her husband David of Morgantown WV; three grandchildren, Scott Campbell, Alex Hubbard, and Erin Hubbard all of Morgantown; several nieces and nephews; a brother-in-law, Bob McCallister; sister-in-law, Margaret Smith; special brother-in-law and best friend Larry McCallister; and special friend, Janet Sturm.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather Troea Morrison; his brother, Milfred G. Campbell; and his wife of 53 years, Carol McCallister Campbell in 2011.

Funeral services will be held for Gary at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street, South Parkersburg, with Reverend Joe Busch officiating. Burial will follow in Mt Olivet Cemetery with Masonic Services. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
